| What is a Pillar? From the front of the vehicle, it is called an A Pillar, a B Pillar, and a C Pillar. It not only supports the roof of the vehicle but also plays an important role in improving the rigidity and safety of the integral type itself. The A Pillar is called the front Pillar and is mounted on the windshield and side glass. The B Pillar is in the center of the front and rear doors and is called the center Pillar or side Pillar. The C Pillar is between the rear glass and the side glass and is called the rear Pillar. The B pillars are removed to improve the body's style and to ensure visibility (hard top), but with the trend of emphasizing safety, most vehicles are equipped with B pillar.
